Santra Holding was setup in 2013 by a group of veteran infrastructure developers led by Mr. Aly Moussa for the soul purpose of developing Chinese rail projects in Egypt
In 2014, Santra signed a strategic partnership agreement with Aviation Industry Corporation of China to develop several projects including “10th of Ramadan LRT Project”
The 10th Ramadan LRT Project connect Cairo with the New Administrative Capital through 78km rail and 11 stations. The Project will cost $1.2 billion and will be managed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China

“10th Ramadan LRT Project” was developed by Santra in partnership with Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC)
Santra played a vital role in envisioning the project / solution for the New Capital and partnered with AVIC to proposed a total technical and financial solution to the Egyptian government
Lieutenant General Kamel El Wazir – the Minister of Transport was in inspection tour to follow up the implementation rates of the Light Rail Transit “LRT” (2019)
